Our energy products consist of “Beyond Solar” products and solar products. Along with its US subsidiary, GreenField Solar, Inc. (GSI), MH GoPower has developed and demonstrated the above-mentioned applications and energy products, and now our strategy is to (a) aggressively market the MIH® VMJ PV cell, providing other innovators the “energy” to create revolutionary products, (b) deploy pilot projects for our solar products, and (c) complete commercialization and market launch of our innovative “Beyond Solar” products.

Photovoltaic Power Converter:

MH GoPower offers Photovoltaic Power Converter (PPC) product line capable of delivering a wide range of power and voltage outputs.Power output levels range from tens of milliwatts to over 3 watts, while output voltage levels are possible from 4 volts to over 30 volts.MHGP’s PPC product line operates most efficiently with wavelengths in the range of 900 nm to 1,000 nm.

Photonic Power Module:

MHGP’s PPM provides up to 3.5W of optical power output, which is launched into multimode fiber (62.5/125 μm, NA 0.27) at nominally 976 nm wavelength.

Laser System:

MHGP’s LSM series laser systems provide customers with a simple, turn-key solution to get started with PoF.The systems include a laser source module (LSM) with a fiber patch cord to be connected to MHGP’s photovoltaic power converters (PPC).The laser source generates the laser power which is transmitted through the fiber patch cord to the PPC.

Power over Fiber Smart Monitoring:

The PoF Smart Monitoring System represents a new generation of continuous monitoring systems for switchgear and other critical electrical assets, enabled by the adoption of power over fiber (PoF) technology. A laser data module (LDM) delivers laser light through a non-conductive fiber patch cord (FPC), where the transmitted laser light is converted to electricity within a sensor module to power internal sensors. The POF-WL240 series sensor modules, which can be mounted directly onto bus bars, offer continuous monitoring of bus bar partial discharge, temperature, and humidity by taking sensor readings and then transmitting the sensor data to the LDM via the FPC. The LDM then shares the sensor data with the equipment operator’s monitoring software. The PoF Smart Monitoring System’s non-conductive FPC provides very high voltage and electrical noise isolation ensuring sensor reading data integrity and accuracy. These features make it possible for the POF-WL240 series sensor modules to be placed directly on electrically noisy bus bars, therefore providing valuable monitoring data of switchgear.

The Power over Fiber (PoF) technology is a novel power delivery system which delivers electrical power by sending laser light through lightweight, non-conductive fiber optic cable to a remote photovoltaic receiver or photovoltaic power converter to power remote sensors or electrical devices.
